Emergency Vehicle Routing in Urban Road Networks with Multistakeholder Cooperation

چکیده
The lack of multistakeholder cooperation is one the main challenges faced by emergency medical services (EMS). Especially in ambulance routing process, inactive traffic operators fail to provide coordination prioritize ambulance, while ignoring choice hospitals will lead inevitable patient transfer between hospitals. To efficient decision support for EMS, this paper considers daily problems a network with high spatial resolution which two advanced technologies are introduced: prehospital screening that provides injury diagnosis and lane preclearing ensures predefined driving speed ambulances. Three different types ambulances used transport offer first aid patients based on screened results. manage fleet properly, mixed-integer linear programming (MIP) model proposed assign vehicles injured plan routes shortest travel time. A semisoft time window constraint incorporated reflect late arrival penalty onsite at Because high-quality EMS responds call seconds, real-world case Shenzhen, China, presented validate computational performance commercial solver: general algebraic modeling system (GAMS). In study, we further analyzed effect stakeholders’ involvement, like operators. This information proves efficiency participation routing.

Improving Emergency Vehicle Routing with Additional Road Features
Routing decisions affect everybody traveling on the roadways, but perhaps those decisions are never more important than for emergency responders. In a field where seconds count, getting lost or taking a sub-optimal route can mean the difference between life and death. Routing methods have advanced from hand drawn maps to smart phones with dynamic routing using GPS, and new data science methods ...
متن کاملOptimal Signal Control in Urban Road Networks with High Priority Congested Centers
Keeping the density of traffic flow and air pollution in an acceptable level and developing a good capacity for transit in the high priority areas of the city, is really a big deal in large and crowded cities. To address this problem, a new method of intersection signal optimization is presented in this paper. Based on network fundamental diagrams, an Internal–External Traffic Metering Strategy...

Municipal solid waste collection is expensive and, in some cities, 46–85% of their whole waste management expenses are used for waste collection and transportation. Rapid urbanization and every day human actions generate a large amount of waste from residential, commercial, or industrial extents all over the world. Waste collection optimization can decrease the waste collection budget and envir...
متن کاملPricing routines for vehicle routing with time windows on road networks
Several very effective exact algorithms have been developed for vehicle routing problems with time windows. Unfortunately, most of these algorithms cannot be applied to instances that are defined on road networks, because they implicitly assume that the cheapest path between two customers is equal to the quickest path. Garaix and coauthors proposed to tackle this issue by first storing alternat...
متن کاملTHE PERIODIC GREEN VEHICLE ROUTING PROBLEM WITH CONSIDERING OF TIME-DEPENDENT URBAN TRAFFIC AND TIME WINDOWS
The travel times among demand points are strongly influenced by traffic in a supply chain. Due to this fact, the service times for customers are variable. For this reason, service time is often changes over a time interval in a real environment. In this paper, a time-dependent periodic green vehicle routing problem (VRP) considering the time windows for serving the customers and multiple trip i...
